30 Days of Recovery – an overview of my book

February 20, 2013

I wrote this book a few years ago in early recovery.  I wrote it in hopes of helping other addicts make it through the first 30 days.  It is directed towards heroin and opiate addicts.  I am going to blog on it, hopefully on a daily basis, posting chapters out of the book.  I am hoping to get some feedback.  I would like to know what people think of this book, is it worth pursuing?  Blogging on it will also help me edit my first draft.

The book is set up as a day by day guide, it helps to give the recovering addict a sense of what’s happening the little tips and things that sometimes we don’t hear about.  There are different activities and journaling exercises to help as well.  I am considering a drastic make over and combining the principles of NA into the book as well but I need to look into copywrite issues on that first.

Any feedback is welcomed.
