These days, realistic fiction books have fallen out of favor with modern readers, who have developed a taste for novels centered on fantasy and romance. While books such as Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey continue to enjoy exceptional commercial success; certain novel genres are becoming less and less popular. Unfortunately, this has led to a dramatic shift within the publishing industry, which is becoming increasingly fixated on meeting the demands of female readers.
